Maha Kumbha Mela Yatra 2025
Maha Kumbha Mela Yatra
The Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, celebrated every 12 years at one of four sacred river-bank pilgrimage sites in India: Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik. The event rotates among these locations, and every 144 years (after 12 Maha Kumbh Melas), a Maha Kumbh takes place specifically in Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), marking it as the most spiritually significant of them all. Millions of pilgrims, saints, sadhus, and tourists come together to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.
